Introducing: “Dish It Your Way” Blogger Challenge

Calling all food bloggers!
Here at America’s Test Kitchen, we cook because we love to eat, and we love the ability that food has to bring people together, inspire memories, and tell a story. This summer, we’re asking bloggers to share their own culinary experiences with us.
Every two weeks, we will feature a classic American dish, challenging bloggers to make and document their own versions of it. Your recipes could be family favorites, regional takes, ethnic variations, or spontaneous remakes. Whatever you choose, we want the recipe to tell a story. We’re looking for posts that are memorable, original, moving, or witty and celebrate the unique characteristics of your recipe. Posts should also include photographs of your creative creations.
American regional cooking and baking come to the fore in our Cook’s Country Magazine, so we’re giving away a free 1-year online subscription to the winning storyteller from each round, chosen by judges here at America’s Test Kitchen. Follow along each week, because we’ll feature all submissions right here on our Tumblr, so you can meet other bloggers and attract new readers.
Just think, your recipes could become new favorites among our readers. So start dishing!
How To Submit: Please email the URL of your blog post along with your name, mailing address, phone number, and Twitter handle (if you have one) to socialmedia@americastestkitchen.com with “My Dish” in the subject line. Be sure to mention the challenge in either the title or the body of your blog post.
The Schedule and Recipe Suggestions: We will be featuring six dishes over the course of the summer, so we encourage you to follow along. You can choose to submit for one challenge, two challenges, or all six.
The Fine Print: The “Dish It Your Way” challenge is limited to residents of the United States who are 18 years and older as of June 16, 2011. The decisions made by the judges at America’s Test Kitchen are final. We may link to your blog post submission from our Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook or America’s Test Kitchen Websites.
