Waste Not, Want Not: A Table Made out of Baguettes: Studio Rygalik has come up with a new use for old bread: Make tables out of it. The Polish design studio collected stale baguettes that would have been thrown away and stuck them together with the flat sides up to form a smooth surface. The different lengths of the “legs” make for a visually appealing piece of furniture, one that somewhat resembles a pan flute. But don’t try to eat it—we’re betting these loaves are as stale as they are sturdy.
