Your Head as a Pez Dispenser: We recently wrote about a Japanese store that was hosting a mold-your-own-head-in-chocolate event for Valentine’s day. Well, if you’re not into chocolate but you are into candy-themed replicas of your face, you’re in luck: The Canadian design firm Hot Pop Factory has figured out a way to use a 3D printer to make molds of peoples’ heads and then turn them into Pez dispensers. To do so, the researchers used an Xbox Kinect to take scans of faces, and then fed the files to the printer. While nothing says “I love you” like a chocolate replica of your own head, a personalized Pez dispenser is a close second.
