Made by Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream, the sweet treat features cayenne pepper, ginger, Maker’s Mark bourbon, honey, and orange and lemon juice. Jeni Britton, the master-mind behind this cure-all sorbet, says it was modeled on a home remedy her mother and grandmother used to make whenever a family member fell sick: A mug of hot whiskey with honey and lemon juice. So if you’re feeling under the weather, head to the freezer section of your local grocery store before you call your doctor.
