44 Cocktails: A Drink For Each President: Bartender Jim Hewes, who’s been working at the Round Robin Bar in the Willard Hotel in D.C. for nearly thirty years, has come up with a special drinks menu, serving up a cocktail named after every president. All 44 drinks reflect something about the leader after who they’re named: President Obama’s drink, for example, is the Blue Hawaiian, made with tequila, Curacao, and lime juice. What would John Quincy Adams drink? According to Hewes, a hot buttered rum. President John Tyler? He’s honored with Henry Clay’s Southern-Style Maker’s Mark Mint Julep.
