How Are You Celebrating National Oatmeal Month? We’ve Got Some Ideas: It’s national oatmeal month! We know, we know, the gray gruel isn’t always the most exciting of meals. But there are definitely some great ways to spice it up (literally, cinnamon and brown sugar do wonders). Once you’ve added your toppings of choice, the hot cereal tastes delicious and does the body good: It’s packed with vitamin B and calcium, and takes longer to digest than other foods so you stay full longer. Here at Test Kitchen we’ve got another favorite way to eat oatmeal: in the form of cookies! Not as healthy as a bowl topped with bananas, but hey, you only live once.
