Botanists Stumble Across Truffle Treasure in Germany: As far as Germany’s culinary contributions go, truffles have never been very high on the list. But with their recent discovery of a large number of truffles in the southwestern part of the country, two botanists hope Germany will join the ranks of France, Italy, and Spain as a world leader of the delicacy.
