British Pub’s Ship-Shape Design: One British pub may have the market cornered on innovative restaurant design. The Hall & Woodhouse pub and restaurant, which took 10 months to build and just opened its doors last month, is made of 28 huge shipping containers. The nontraditional design is an homage to the industrial marine heritage of Portishead, the coastal city where it was built.
