Store Owner Fights Off Robber with Spicy Seasoning: A Stoneham, Mass., convenience store owner thwarted a would-be robbery with a cup of chili pepper powder. Instead of handing over all of the cash register’s money, as the thief demanded, Khan went behind the counter, grabbed the cup of pepper he uses to season his food, and threw it in the robber’s face. The criminal escaped empty-handed, but is still on the loose.
